About the artist...

She is passionate about wildlife conservation, science through the arts, and nature.
Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my portfolio!
My primary medium is fiber art, with a focus on needle-felting and wet-felting techniques, and embroidery. I often combine these with other media such as clay, paint, wood, and others, as the contrast in materials adds texture and can make a piece more visually interesting.
My artist handle is named for the creature that saved me from a very dark time in my life, and guided my hands to wildlife art. The Turkey Vulture taught me that you can make do with what life provides, and that you will find your way if you trust your wings to carry you on.
I am always looking to connect with people and venues that are as passionate about birds and nature as I am!
